Modern Shapes Gallery is proud to announce its first participation to the Art Elysées Art & Design Fair presenting the extraordinary work of Harry Morgan.
Harry's work is known for its unusual marrying of materials and experimental approach to traditional process. Referencing ancient techniques and histories such as Venetian glassblowing and Brutalist architecture. He challenges the connotations behind the materials. Despite being composed of the same elements, glass and concrete appear as conflicting materials. Glass reflects ambiguity and intangibility. In sharp contrast, concrete is brutally physically.

A dynamic event during the Parisian Art Week in autumn, the 8e Avenue Art Show will return on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées for its fourth edition. This new international contemporary art show is the very first art show that covers both contemporary art and urban culture in Paris.
The Avenue of the Champs-Élysées, is a highly visible location in an emblematic setting. The fair’s ideal dates guarantee the presence of art aficionados, French and foreign collectors. Contemporary Art stems from the experimentations of Modern Art and also the desire to detach art from places considered too traditional or institutional. 8e Avenue art fair, celebrates contemporary creation at its best. The art show presents young as well as confirmed galleries to present and defend their artists, inside a pavilion settled along the Champs-Élysées avenue, facing the Grand Palais and the Art Élysées – Art & Design fair, during the autumn art week in Paris.
